GO FUND ME

Blackfish has faced some steep moving and renovation costs to transform our new space into
a stunning gallery. We are reaching out to our community and patrons to ask for your support.

Would you be willing to make a contribution to our Go Fund Me?

A gift of any amount would mean the world to us. To donate, simply click this button:

We are so honored to invite you into our new home at 938 NW Everett St, just a block away from our previous location! In a narrative arc made for the history books, the first show in the new gallery features one of the collective's founding members, painter Barbara Black, who puts the “Black” in Blackfish. Her invited guests, fellow painter Angela Passelacqua and mixed media sculptor Barbara Conyne, are longtime colleagues and friends for over 40 years. Their exhibition is aptly titled “What’s Past is Prologue.” It runs from November 29 to December 30, 2022.

This move would not have been possible without the support of the community in our greatest time of need. Although our doors are officially open, we are still recovering from the steeps costs of the move.  We are so grateful for the donations over the past month and have decided to keep our Go Fund Me open during our first year of operations in our new space.

It seems like everyday we are finding small needs that build up to large expenses, like a power drill or curtains to separate our office space from storage. We imagine as we continue to settle into our new space this first year we will find a few of these new needs every month. Your donation of any amount goes a long way to helping us grow into our new space and customize it so that it is the best experience possible for visitors.

So over the next few months please consider making a small donation, a big donation or coming into the gallery and purchasing a new art piece in support of our community! Follow us on Instagram or Facebook and we will feature some of the items that you have helped make our new house a home!
