MCAA Ceramic Artists
from Mashiko, Japan
This May, Blackfish Gallery will celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders Heritage (AANHPI) month by presenting the special exhibition Many Bridges.The exhibition will feature the work of Mashiko ceramic artists from Japan, local Portland AANHPI artists, AANHPI Blackfish member artists, as well as interpretations of the theme by Blackfish members.
Featured Mashiko Ceramics and Arts Association (MCAA) artists will include Emiko Asano, Douglas Black, Andrew Gemrich, Ikuzo Fujiwara, Akihiko Ishijima, Masayuki Miyajima, Yoshiji Onuki, Kei Shimaoka, Ryo Suzuki, and Satoshi Yokoo.

for Tea Ceremony
Tea ceremony and talk using tea bowls made by MCAA participating artists at the Culture Corner of the Portland Japanese Garden.
